THIS IS ME

Sarah Dale is a UK based freelance Musician residing in West Yorkshire. She is a multi instrumentalist/vocalist playing, cello, bass guitar, soprano ukulele and classical guitar.

She gained a first class BA honours degree at Salford University under the capable tutelage of Robin Dewhurst, Clare Hogan, Jan Kopinski and Dave Hassell.

Sarah has toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland with Country and Western shows involving country music luminaries; Stella Parton, Sarah Jory, Billie Jo spears, Sandy Kelly, Pj Proby, Colm Kirwin...

She has taken her ukulele to theatres all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, UK and America from the desert climes of LA to the crisp corners of Alaska, in addition to an eventful month long residency at Dollywood, Tennessee. (Dolly Partons' theme park, meeting the good lady herself).

Sarah has completed two residencies at the prestigious Montreux Jazz festival with international function band the Soupabads, performing in Harrys' bar, renowned for being Quincy Jones's local hangout.

Sarah has also skirted the Norwegian and Israeli coasts on residencies with function bands The Feds and the Wize Guys.

One of her enduring passions is original music and Sarah has an ever increasing involvement in performing, writing and recording with indie-folk artists such as Little Sparrow, Lee Southall (ex. Coral), as well as playing and recording sessions for many UK/American based singer/songwriters; Robbie Cavanagh, Heidi Feek, Holly Fallon

Sarah is an accomplished Vocal Tutor and for over 15 years she has sustained a school of students alongside her performance commitments.

Little Sparrow is a Manchester based Singer Songwriter (Katie Ware). Her last album released in 2014 received much critical acclaim and radio play from the likes of Guy Garvey, Tom Robinson and Chris Hawkins BBC radio 6. Janice Long BBC Radio 2

The Feds are an International function and touring band.

With a repertoire that spans many decades and genres the group have performed across Europe and the UK under their own banner as well as being the touring group for numerous International artists.

The United Ukulele Komedy Orchestra are a touring group of 7 ukulele players and singers who play a wide variety of repertoire in a very unique way!

Gary Grace is a Classy Swing singer available for all kinds of functions and cruises.

Ceilidh Band Yorkshire based

The Beau Dillies are a Ceilidh Folk band based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. The quintet create beautiful music and dances suitable for all types of events - weddings, birthdays, anniversaries.

Folk music cello voice

The Greyhounds recharge the youthful immediacy of traditional music, lending much renewal to the narrative content of folk songs as to the melodies themselves. The group includes Sonya Moorhead, John Ellis (Cinematic orchestra) and Ian Fletcher (Future Trad Collective).

Lee Southall (ex The Coral) launched his recent debut solo album 'Iron in the Fire' to critical acclaim. He is a talented guitarist who comfortably straddles the Country/Americana genre with his heartfelt songwriting.
